We are a manufactures’ representative agency established in 1992 with the primary purpose of exclusively representing top line companies serving the dry bulk solids processing, conveying, storage, and packaging industries. Our business model is quite simple. We are manufacture representative purist with the ideal that we are only sales representatives, and not integrators, resellers, or used equipment salesmen. We are a committed experienced solution resource for our customer.

Stephens and Krizner Co., Inc. has long established relationships with manufacturing companies providing experienced and proven solutions using the best state of the art technology to customers in our territory. The manufactures we represent, our principals, can offer components, systems, and complete turnkey projects, depending on the customer’s needs, abilities, and resources.

The principals we represent support the customers by offering state of the art solutions. We draw on our experience, apply innovation of product development, material testing, and field application experience. We provide a team approach from brain storming to specification review, from drawing approval to project management reporting. They can provide AutoCAD drawings, 3D modeling, and factory acceptance testing. Some manufacturing facilities incorporate CAD/ CAM manufacturing, laser and plasma metal cutting and press brake. They offer to make equipment in various grades of stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum and various metal alloy materials.

Testing can be a critical part of the design process. Many of our principals offer material test laboratories for conveying, mixing, reacting, drying, size reduction, screening and air filtration. We encourage our customers to visit the facilities to witness the testing and to see our facilities.

We not only provide the mechanical equipment, but can provide controls systems too. From simple push button on/off controls with motor starters to complex integrated PC or PLC based controls systems with data acquisition and process supervision, our principals program, design build, factory test and start-up all control systems. As manufacturing factories are looking for more automation, Stephens and Krizner Co., Inc. is providing the resources to our customers to keep ahead of the competition.

Our Team

Stephens and Krizner Co., Inc. serves the Mid-Atlantic region including Eastern PA, NJ, DE, Maryland, Virginia, and Eastern and Southern NY. Our guys have been working in this region for many years.

Dave Stephens started as a manufactures’ representative serving the Dry Bulk Solids Processing and Conveying industry in 1977. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Penn State University. Dave covers accounts in the Eastern PA and Southern NY territory.

Richard Krizner started his career as a manufactures’ representative in the Dry Bulk Solids Processing and Conveying industry in 1983. He started in Texas and then moved back to the Philadelphia area in 1992 to form Stephens and Krizner Co., Inc. with Dave Stephens. Rich graduated with a BS in Commerce and Engineering from Drexel University. Rich covers the Philadelphia area and Southern NJ territory.

Jim Sunday became a manufactures’ representative in Dry Bulk Solids Processing and Conveying industry in 1995. Jim had previous experience as a mechanical contractor installing the exact equipment we sell. Prior to becoming a mechanical contractor, Jim worked as a project engineer in the chemical industry. Jim has a BS in mechanical engineering from Penn State University. Jim covers the Northern NJ and Eastern NY territory.

Mike Stephens began working as a manufactures’ representative in the Dry Bulk Solids Processing and Conveying industry in 2000, first as an intern while going to Shippensburg State University. Upon graduation with a Bachelor of Science, Mike took over the Southern Central PA and Maryland territory.

Matt Stephens started his career as a manufactures’ representative in the Dry Bulk Solids Processing and Conveying industry in 2000 while attending Lehigh Community College. After graduation with a degree in Construction Management, Matt went to work as a Regional Sales Manager for Industrial Magnetics. After three years, Matt returned to Stephens and Krizner Co., Inc. to join Dave covering the Eastern PA and Southern NY territory.

George Armbruster has a BS of Economics from Virginia Military Institute. He brings an entrepreneurial and management background to our company. George worked in the environmental air monitoring and combustible dust monitoring industries prior to joining Stephens and Krizner Company. He covers the Virginia territory.

Brian Velon graduated from the New England Institute of Technology in 2001 with a BS in Manufacturing Engineering. He has worked in engineering and project management in the chemical, petrochemical, food and pharmaceutical industries. Brian cover the Delaware territory.
